How are we different?
School photo day processes hundreds of kids in a single afternoon, on a folding backdrop, with almost no time per child. We do the opposite: one child (or family) at a time, in a real studio, with white posing blocks, soft professional lighting, and a photographer who can actually get your child to relax and smile naturally.
And here's the one thing school picture day never lets you do: be there.
At school, your child is handed off to a stranger with a camera, alone, for a few rushed seconds — no chance to fix a flipped collar, flatten a cowlick, or coax a real smile. In our studio, you're in the room. You can check hair and outfits right before we shoot, help your child feel comfortable, and catch anything that would've made you cringe in the school version. It's a small thing that makes a big difference in how the photos actually turn out.
Studio school photos for any family who wants:
A retake, done properly — for kids who blinked, whose hair was a mess, or who just didn't like their school photos this year
A make-up session — for kids who were sick, absent, or simply missed school picture day
An opt-out alternative — for parents who don't want their child photographed by a third-party vendor at school, or who have privacy concerns about school photo companies
Homeschool portraits — homeschooling families don't get a picture day, but your child still deserves a proper yearly portrait
A better quality photo — clean white studio background, professional lighting, and unhurried posing instead of a rushed 30-second school gym setup
A parent in the room — something school picture day never allows. You're there to help with hair, outfits, and getting a real smile
