Our approach to lifestyle newborn photography is relaxed, baby-led, and heartfelt - focusing on real connection over posed perfection. We offer sessions with or without props, allowing your family's unique story and space to shine through.
Signature Session
IN YOUR HOME

1.5–2 hours | In-home newborn photography
A intimate, lifestyle-focused session centered on your family, your connection, and the story of life at home with your newest little one. We'll work through 1–2 spaces in your home, keeping things relaxed and natural.
Baby will wear one outfit of your choosing for the entire session and will spend most of their time right where they belong - in your arms. We'll also capture a few simple portraits in our hand-selected basket, with baby in their own outfit, un-swaddled. We bring a small selection of newborn outfits and props as backup in case you need them.

50+ hand-edited, high-resolution digital images
Whole family, siblings, individual parent, and newborn detail images
Private online gallery delivered within 5 days
$50 print credit toward our professional print shop
Print release for personal printing at any lab
Detailed preparation guide and email support

Heirloom Session
IN YOUR HOME
2-3 hours | In-home newborn photography
Our most comprehensive newborn experience. This extended session goes beyond our Signature Session with more intentional styling, deeper coverage, and time to move through multiple spaces of your home at a gentle, unhurried pace.
Baby will have one outfit change, including a beautifully styled swaddle using wraps from our curated textile collection. The added time allows for peaceful, sleepy portraits alongside the candid lifestyle moments that make this session feel truly complete.

Signature Session
IN OUR STUDIO
A 2–3 hour, family-centered session at our Libertyville studio. Includes gently posed swaddled and basket portraits, with access to our curated collection of props, outfits, and wraps - everything provided for a relaxed, beautiful session.
A minimum of 75 beautifully curated hand-edited high-resolution digital images will be delivered to your inbox within 5 days of your session.
Your session also includes a $100 print credit to use in our online professional print shop, along with a print release for personal printing at the lab of your choice.
A detailed preparation guide and ongoing email support are provided to ensure you feel fully prepared going into your newborn photography session.

Book Your Session
Booking early ensures availability during your baby’s first two weeks, the ideal window for newborn photography.
FAQ’S
The ideal time for newborn photos is 7–14 days old, when baby is still sleepy, enjoys swaddling, and is less sensitive to movement and sound.
After 2 weeks, babies are often more alert and harder to swaddle. If your baby is older at the time of your session, no worries - we work with older newborns all the time. For older babies, we recommend our Signature Session for in-home sessions, and in the studio, we’ll simply focus more on family images if baby isn’t up for swaddled poses.
For in-home sessions, we choose 1–2 softly lit areas with natural light. Popular spots include the living room, master bedroom, or nursery. We also bring compact, high-quality lighting to ensure your images are beautifully lit to add light where we need to.
To book, a $100 non-refundable retainer is required, with the balance due on session day. We recommend booking before baby arrives to ensure availability in the ideal 2–3 week window.
We take your baby’s safety seriously. We wear a mask when handling babies under 2 months, are up-to-date on the Tdap vaccine, and will reschedule if we’re feeling unwell.
