Your wedding day flat lay is a great way of capturing the important elements of your day in one photograph. In the weeks leading up to your wedding, collect these items in one box. When we arrive at your getting ready location, we will ask for this box so that we can easily grab these photos for you without having to run around finding all these item.

Sample items to include (all of this is optional - the idea is to just include items that mean something to you):

• All THREE wedding rings!!! (engagement ring, both wedding bands) This allows me to photograph these three rings together so I don’t have to bug you for them again later in the day.

• Flat lay florals from your florist (see below)

• wedding invitation (all pieces - envelopes too!)

• shoes

• wedding day jewelry (earrings, necklace, bracelet)

• purse/clutch

• Hair pieces (if not in your hair yet)

• your favorite perfume

• veil

• vow books

• heirloom jewelry

PRO TIP: Ask your florist for a few extra flowers (similar to what will be in your bouquet) that we can incorporate into your flat lay. Please ask your florist to make sure these are delivered to the place you will be getting ready as this is when we do your flat lay photos. Often florists will deliver florals right to the venue - if this will be the case for your wedding day, try to get a few flowers ahead of time that can be kept with your flat lay box.
