Our outdoor family sessions are designed to feel effortless and unhurried. We focus on connection and the fleeting moments you’ll want to remember years from now.
Set in beautiful natural locations throughout Libertyville, Lake County, and the greater Chicagoland area, these sessions create timeless family photographs with a refined, natural look.
Session includes:
Up to 1 hour of outdoor family photography
50+ fully retouched, high-resolution digital images, thoughtfully curated
Private online gallery for viewing, downloading, and sharing
$50 print credit toward professional prints or artwork in our online print shop
Printing release for personal use
Gallery delivery within 5 days

Photographed in our Libertyville studio, these sessions offer a clean, refined environment with soft, flattering light - perfect for families who love a more polished, classic look.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES WHEN APPLICABLE:
+ $100 travel fee for locations 30-60 minutes from 60048

FAQ’s
BOOKING + SEASONAL INFORMATION
Once a date, time, and session location are selected, we’ll send a proposal to complete your booking. Prior to your session, you’ll receive wardrobe and preparation guidance, and we’ll confirm all details a few days before your shoot so everything feels smooth and stress-free.
Studio family sessions are offered year-round in our Libertyville studio. During colder months, we recommend studio sessions, while outdoor family photography typically resumes in April or May, once the weather begins to warm in Illinois.
WHERE ARE SESSIONS HELD?
We have a distinct shooting style, which is why we strongly encourage clients to choose from our preferred locations. These spots are carefully chosen for their beautiful light, scenic depth (hello, dreamy bokeh!), convenient parking, and low foot traffic.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
For outdoor sessions, we DO shoot on sunny, gloomy, and light snow days. We DON’T shoot when it’s raining or in very heavy snowfall. If we have to reschedule for weather, we will together find a reschedule day that works for everyone.
HOW DO I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?
Every session includes a password protected online gallery, delivered within 5 days of your session. You have the ability to print with our chosen professional photo lab or use your own. All high-resolution digital images given.
PAYMENTS
A non-refundable $100 reservation fee is required to book your appointment and will go toward your total, due the day of the session. Once you choose a time and submit your request, we'll email a proposal where you can pay the deposit and sign the photography agreement.
RESCHEDULING/CANCELLATION
If you need to reschedule your appointment, please notify us 72 hours or more prior to your project date. Exceptions will only be made in the case sickness of an emergency. We allow the reservation fee to be moved to a new day only once. A new reservation fee is required to reschedule a second time.
